Good Manners for Puppies and Adult Dogs

Get the right kind of puppy training (dogs 8-16 weeks of age)

The age up to 16 weeks is a very important socialization period for a puppy, during this time he should be introduced to everything that you want him to cope with in his adult life. Getting used to handling, meeting different people and other dogs, traveling in a bus and a car, walking on the street are just a few things that most of us want our dogs to be able to handle. In addition, teaching your puppy behaviors that we humans consider good manners will be strongly imprinted in his memory. For the dog it makes no difference whether he jumps on people or sits down to greet them, whether to chase a cyclist or to come to us when we call him. It is for us to decide which behaviors he learns at the early stages of his life in our home.

Good manners for adult dogs

Do you have a newly arrived adult rescue dog or does your dog needs additional training for ground rules and acceptable manners? Mastering a set of foundation behaviors is important to make your dog an accepted member of the human society that you can be proud to walk around with. We take advantage of the same foundation behaviors as in the puppy package, as well as others others on request:

The basic good manners package consists of four sessions, where we cover the following foundation behaviors (also others on request). We give you weekly homework and helpful resources. We also provide support between lessons to keep you successful.

Pricing and registration

Initial assessment for new students $125 + HST (1 hour)

Individual follow-up sessions $110 + HST (1 hour)

Package of four (4) sessions (1 hour each): $400 + HST
